As we have been offering in our odd year summer class schedule, I hope that you might consider taking MUED 5814M AdvancedConducting which is a five-day workshop for band, orchestra, and choral conductors who teach at the middle school and secondary level, at the collegiate level, and for undergraduate and graduate college students, that is designed to deal with conducting techniques, rehearsal strategies, and score study.
MUED 5814M: Advanced Conducting Class will be held on the YSU Campus from June 10-14, 2019 from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM. Historically, this class has had between 9 and 12 students with a mixture of regional music educators/conductors and upper division undergraduate and graduate students from the Dana School of Music. For graduate students it falls in the category of "Seminar" towards your degree.
