PMEA D1 MINI GRANTS

2/25/2021

Each year, the PMEA District 1 Executive Committee discusses the ways in which we can best support our District 1 members. The events of the past year and the anticipated effects of the pandemic, both short term and long term, have driven many of our recent conversations. The demands of teaching music have always been great; however, this past year has brought us even greater challenges. Many of us continue to teach remotely and/or reimagine how to teach our courses and performing ensembles, in some cases without the ability to play or sing. It is our hope that the development of this grant program will aid our PMEA District 1 members as we continue to navigate these challenges.
Purpose
To provide grants to qualifying PMEA District 1 members who require funding for professional development, resources, equipment, or creative projects which will enhance music instruction, student learning and forward the mission of PMEA.

  • ●  PMEA District 1 members may submit grant applications in more than one area, but may
only be awarded one grant per year
  • ●  Applicant must complete the application form. No incomplete forms will be considered. If
the member is applying for multiple grants, separate applications must be completed for each request
