Results from last night's Honors String Orchestra auditions are posted in the members-only section.  The password was communicated to directors at the meeting.  Please do not share it with students.

The annual Fall Workshop presented by the Professional Development Committee will take place on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Carnegie Mellon University.  This year's workshop will be presented in memory of Areta Kalogeras, who was a former D1 president and active member of the Curriculum & Instruction (now PD) Committee. The day's theme is "Back to Basics," and features sessions important to all areas of PMEA membership.  Cost is free for active members, $10 for non-members, and $5 for collegiate non-members.  For a detailed schedule, go to the PROF DEV tab.

Please note that we will not do pre-paid parking this year.  We were informed by the staff at CMU that pre-paying doesn't actually save any money nor does it guarantee a parking space. The garage typically used for the workshop is the East Campus Garage, located off of Forbes Avenue.  Click here for a printable map.  Rates are as follows:

• 30 minutes or less - no charge
  
• 30 minutes to 1 Hour - $3.00
  
• 1 hour to 3 hours - $6.00
  
• 3 hours to 5 hours - $7.00
  
• 5 hours to 7 hours - $8.00
  
• 7 hours to 9 hours - $10.00
  

Hello Choral Directors,

            Just as a reminder, all applications for this year’s Honors Choir at Seton Hill University must be postmarked by Friday, September 18, 2015. Please include the director’s information form with the ranking of your students, a copy of your current PMEA membership card and all completed student forms.  Please make sure that all of the information on your student applications are complete and have the necessary signatures. All forms were included in the mailing sent out at the beginning of August or can be found on the PMEA website.
