Until all of that is set in motion and running, a page has been created under the Members tab for members to share announcements such as job openings, auditions for community groups, notification of special programs that would be interesting to PMEA members, etc. Once the membership committee organizes their methods of communication, the e-mail alert system will be reinstated so that members can subscribe to specific types of announcements (elementary, middle school, high school, college, general music, strings, band, choir, technology, etc.).
To submit something to be included on the announcements page, click the "submit announcement" button to complete the form with information to be shared with the membership. After approval from the EXCOM, the website editor will post it on the Community Announcements page under the Members tab.
