IUP Junior High Band Invitational

IUP will host the second annual Junior High Band Invitational on November 5, 2016!
This will be a one-day, sight-reading ensemble featuring:

• an evening performance in Fisher Auditorium,
• master classes by IUP faculty, and
• the opportunity to work with a fabulous guest conductor.

All students in grades 7–9 who apply for this ensemble with a recommendation from their home director will be accepted to participate.
No audition is required!
OVERVIEW

• November 5, 2016
• Rehearsal from 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Concert at 7:00 p.m.
• No auditions — all repertoire for the concert will be distributed at the event
• Students will be responsible for all meals while they are on campus
• $25 registration fee if paid in advance (by October 28 / $35 if paid after due date or on-site)
• Commemorative t-shirt
• Attendance of the home band director at this event is not required. Simply complete a director registration form so that we may have your contact information in case of an emergency.
