Dear Music Educators,
Congratulations on finishing another school year! Duquesne University wishes that all students and faculty have a wonderful summer vacation. My name is Nina Day and I am the vice president for the National Association for Music Education Chapter (NAfME No. 159) at Duquesne. I am pleased to announce that the Duquesne University School of Music will hold its 29th annual Career Day! This event is open to all high school students who have an interest in any major in the field of music. This year the event will be one day including panels, informational sessions, workshops, and many more! We are hoping students to leave with more knowledge and an idea of what it is like to be a student in their desired music major.
Career Day will be taking place on Saturday, November 10th, 2018. Please encourage students to mark this date on their calendar and keep a lookout for emails regarding registration! The NAfME No. 159 executive board, chapter, and the faculty of the school of music are looking forward to putting this event together for your students.
