Choral Kaleidoscope is an institute for choral conductors at all levels. Expand your tool-box with practical sessions in score study, rehearsal technique, choral repertoire, and conducting technique. Participate as an Active Conductor, Conducting Scholar, or Auditor!
Join Dr. Caron Daley (Director of Choral Activities, Duquesne University), Dr. Matthew Mehaffey (Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh and University of Minnesota) and members of the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh for five inspirational days:
· Daily conducting masterclasses
· Sing in the Choral Kaleidoscope Choir alongside members of the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh
· Sing/conduct in performance at the Duquesne University Chapel of the Holy Spirit (in-person and live-streamed)
· Focus on embodied pedagogies (Dalcroze Eurhythmics, Laban Movement Analysis, and Body Mapping)
