Congratulations PMEA District 1 Scholarship Recipients!
Each year PMEA District 1 awards $1000 scholarships to three seniors (one in each area - strings, vocal, and band) in District 1 that have definite plans for a career in music education or a music-related field. The award is based on musical achievements and academic excellence.
The recipients of the 2021 PMEA District 1 Scholarships are:
Hannah Garry (vocal) - Fort Cherry Jr./Sr. High School
Alyssa Lucente (strings) - Moon Area High School
Olivia Nixon (band*) - Canon-McMillan High School
Zachary Spondike (band*) - Shaler Area High School
